Cole's Books was delighted to welcome local author and Titanic expert Robin Gardiner to talk about, and sign copies of, his new book 'The Great Titanic Conspiracy'. Robin is the author of two previous books, 'The Riddle Of The Titanic' and 'Titanic: The Ship That Never Sank?', both of which challenged the official story that an iceberg sunk this famous ship in 1912. Robin asserts that the sinking was a huge insurance scam engineered by White Star Line to recover massive debts. In his new book, Robin continues the theory that the ship that sank was the Titanic's sister ship the Olympic, after a very simple but clever identity switch. Robin will present further evidence of a conspiracy that will be both interesting and controversial!
